So we bought six baby chicks so that by the end of the summer we will have full grown hens to lay eggs for us! we are so excited! Right now they are living in a box in our mud room but soon Brady will be done building our chicken coop and it will be warm enough for them to live outside!! We can't wait! Nothing is better than going out and getting fresh eggs every morning!! Pictures to come of the coop and also when they get bigger! But for now here are the little ladies!!!
Stay tuned...

Oh, how cute! They are tiny. I'm jealous you'll be eating fresh eggs. I've had them before and think there's no comparison to store bought. Good job with the coop Brady!
baby chicks are so much fun. that's awesome. You should be getting eggs by september for sure, maybe even august. build your chicken coop really tough, and make sure it's covered. Racoons and badgers can climb!
Cute!
Um did you win a dress from shabby apple over at Caitlin Wilson design?? Congrats if you did!!
Thanks beck for the help! We are excited!
Marie yes I did! Thank you! I was so shocked!
haha oh my i want a baby chick! you are one funny bum! love you
Ah! I can't tell you how jealous I am right now! I've been begging Peter for some chickens for the last year! Hopefully once we're in our house and the yard is in he'll cave. I can't wait to see what Brady builds, thats the part Peter is excited for haha. Anyway- thanks for offering to come help us move in! You are way too cute. I wouldn't even ask you to do that but send me your e-mail so I can tell you where we'll live in relation to Heather just so you know. We are super close. -And you guys could come visit some time, I'm sure Peter and Brady would LOVE to talk mission stuff :)
