24 week!

Time is flying by.... To think I only have 16 weeks give or take until this baby boy of ours comes is so crazy!

I have been feeling great and honestly have nothing to complain about! This is the enjoyable part of pregnancy so I hear!! I feel so blessed each day! The Lord has blessed Brady and I with this sweet baby boy and he already has brought more joy in our lives, and we haven't even met him! All the late night talks we have of how to be the best parents, what names we like, what he will look like.... The list goes on and on! But for now we are just trying to prepare the best we can!

Disney Cruise!!

What an awesome trip we had!! We went on a Disney Cruise to Mexico with a couple of my siblings and my sweet Mother! We drove to California first for a day then headed to the port to get on board!

Oh how we love Disney! And Hailee had a Birthday

My sister Heather did an amazing job on these pictures! I am 21 weeks and feeling great! It's so nice to be over the sick
stage and on to the feel good stage! We feel so blessed to be having this perfect angel from Heaven and it's crazy to think in about 19 weeks he will be here! Time flys so so fast! Here are a couple pictures for now! More to come! Thank you sis for capturing this special time in our lives!

3 years!

This past weekend was our 3 year anniversary and it was a great one! Having gotten married over Thanksgiving we are surrounded by thoughts of what we are grateful for and one is our eternal marriage! I love Brady with all my heart and I couldn't have found a better man! Here is how we celebrated...
We made a yummy dinner at home and then headed out to see the lights at temple square and to go to a session at the temple we
were sealed in! It was so meaningful and so peaceful!

What a perfect night! I love you Brady! 3 amazing years flew by and I know it will fly faster once our sweet baby comes in May! We find out soon what we are having!

Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! We got to spend it with my family and Grandma and Grandpa along with cousins! Thanks mom for such al wonderful thanksgiving this year! Amazing cooking as usual!

We wrote down reasons we were grateful for each other!

We love grandma and grandpa!

The kids had a fun craft station making cookies and pinecone turkeys!

We really had such a wonderful day! After we all played games as a family and watched a movie! The next day we visited Brady's family and also had a wonderful thanksgiving lunch and later had costa vida for dinner and watched a movie! What a fun filled few days! Thank you to our Mothers for amazing food! What a blessing they are in our lives!

Baby is growing and I'm starting to see it now. So is my sweet husband!

I have thrown up to many times to count. I'm finally starting to feel better and I keep telling myself that the hardest is almost over! Food is a battle and sometimes i just can't eat. But i have to.. I really like these and also eggs and toast! I eat these almost every day!

I haven't been tired which is good. I have been able to run still (at like a mile an hour) which also makes me feel better everyday. I really don't mind if it's a boy or girl because I want both and I plan on many more kids in the future! I am emotional all the time! I cried the other day because I was the only one who didn't win an all a dollar bath soap at a shower... So my mom gave me hers! Bless her heart! Im Stupid!

I love my baby so much that is growing so rapidly inside of my tummy! Nothing excites me more than knowing that my eternal family is growing and that god has blessed Brady and I I with this perfect little child that we get to raise and love on this earth and to teach (he/she) about the gospel! Trust me I am worried everyday hoping that I will be a good mom! I am grateful that pregnancy is 9 months because that is good time to prepare!

I love that quote so much because I apply it to everything! Such as my pregnancy! It hasn't been easy, but it's been worth every minute of it!

Wack-A-Doo-Zoo

A while ago we drove down to see my sweet little niece in a play called Wack A Doo Zoo! She was a little monkey in the play! She did such a good job! We love her!

Baby Cannon #1!!! Come May our little one will be born!

Brady and I feel so blessed to be having our own child! The Lord has blessed us in so many ways and mostly with getting my body healthy enough to be having a baby! It truly is a miracle! I cried when I got to see our little one today and see the heartbeat and felt an overwhelming feeling of peace knowing its my time to be a mother! Brady is going to be such an amazing dad and I love every time he starts talking about it! This is a special time in our lives and we can't wait to meet our little one! We can't wait to find out what we are having! Any guesses???

My Mom, Sisters, Jane Ann, Jill and I all got together Saturday night and first went to dinner at the Garden in the Joseph Smith Building! It was delicious and a beautiful setting! After we went to the Relief Society Broadcast! Thanks to my sister Heidi for getting tickets! As you all know it was amazing!!! After we went for dessert! What an amazing night! I love my family so much!

Bow and Arrow!

Brady taught me how to shoot a bow and arrow today and we had so much! We set up hay bales in our back yard and spray painted a center target on it to aim at! I really enjoyed it and i want to do it more! I can see why Brady really loves it! Thanks Brady for a fun Saturday activity!

Remember T-Bone???

Well this is what happened today.. The pictures will do all the explaining.

Sad I know... I started crying when I saw T-Bone get shot:( but this is why we got him! We had him slaughtered and then he will be cut and wrapped! We are selling the meat if anyone likes lean meat. There will be pot roast, hamburger, and steaks! We are excited! Next year we will be doing these guys!

Last week we had a new baby goat delivered to the farm! We named him Mader! He still needed to be bottle fed for a few days because of how young he is! Here he is...

So I just had PRK LASER eye surgery! All I can say is AMAZING!!! I can see now with out glasses or contacts! Yahoo! Well I have to document these beauties I get to wear for two days so I don't rub or touch my eyes!

The only hard part is the healing, but it will be so worth it to be able to see all the time!!! Those who have bad vision or have had this surgery can understand! Thanks to my sweet Brady for taking such good care of me and putting all my eye drops in ever hour! I love you! And I LOVE this surgery! Thanks Dr. Davis!

Peach Jam!

On the farm right now peaches are so delicious! I did peach jam last year but I am all out... So what did I do today??? PEACH JAM!

Well this is what my on the go lunch was today or i guess i should say every day:) and it was just what I needed for a hot day!
Spinach
Protein powder
Strawberries
Mango
Pineapple
And water!
Put it all together and mix it up and you are done!
usually I add beats, a tomato, and carrots, but didn't today and it tasted good still! I know I have blogged about this before with all the things I have changed in my diet to make me the healthiest, and this is one of them! Getting the nutrients from natural foods are the beat way to go! Try it! You will grow to LOVE them, as I have! (and even Brady!)

Canning Salsa!

I love canning salsa every year for one reason! I have fresh salsa all year long! (Well I made so much this year i have enough for two years) My mom and Sis came up and helped with the first few batches and also made some for themselves and then had to leave! We had a blast! I loved having them up here at my house! Well 8 more hours of hard work and I completed 60 jars of salsa thanks to the help of my sweet husband! Now we are eating salsa every meal! Yummy! I have loved this recipe so much and if you want it let me know... Here are some pictures to kind of show how much stuff I had! Hahah finally all done!

Pure Heaven!

For three hours today I was out on the farm picking fruits and veggies for the week! I LOVE summer for this reason...

This isn't even close to how much land there is!

Not quite ready:( soon though!

Todays picking included... Water melon, beans, onions, potatoes, squash, beets, cucumbers, peppers, and tomatoes!!! Come see us and you can pick some your self! Getting ready for canning!!! Yeah!

We went down to Brayden's birthday party that Cyd put together! She did a great job!!! We ate dinner and played fun/daring games, and got to see some good friends! Here are some pictures of the night...

School is Out!!!

So Brady took his last test today in school and has two weeks off until fall semester! We decided after his final to go to the Temple and to dinner to celebrate! What a great evening! I love having a free husband for a while! I miss it! Thanks for a special night Brady!

Face Mask...

If any of you are like me, I get dry skin easy... I found this amazing home made face mask that really works so good! If you don't believe me, try it!
Ingredients...

Oatmeal and Honey Mask
for dry skin.

2 teaspoons of ground oats
1 teaspoon honey
Few drops of lemon juice
1 egg white

I love that it is a skin color mask and not green!!

Mix them well and use diligently over face and neck with special care to eyes. Let it dry then rinse with cold water or wipe away with wash cloth. (A cold water rinse is a better option!) Try it:) let me know if you like it??

Beach House 2011!!!

We had a great time in California! It first started off with the girls in Vegas then to Cali, then my brothers and Brady luckily got to join us for a few days! It was a fun trip! We love any vacation we get to go on and love the time we get to spend together and with family! we had lots of beach time, relaxing, shopping, and great food! We had a great time! Glad my husband could join me!

We are in LA today and I wouldn't usually blog about trips while on them, but I had to share what happened today!! We were shopping at The Grove! As I was walking pretty sure Mario Lopez was there filming something and I got asked to do an interview with him! Haha he said he wanted me to be the one he interviewed! It was so fun and man did he have a ton of make up on! But I sure enjoyed talking with him and getting a big hug!

I obviously couldn't take any pictures with him since i had my phone with me but here is right before i went on camera! I had to talk about when i think Prince William and Kate Middleton will have a baby! Haha so pretty much Star Gossip! Fun fun! More to come when I get home! For now I will enjoy my time here in Cali!

R.I.P Rooster...

Yes that's right... We killed our rooster and we no longer have a 5:00 am non stoppable alarm!!! We got rid of him because we had no need to keep him! This is how it went...

Caught him and put his head in a milk carton upside down to stop from moving as much.

Then we cut the head off. No need for that picture! After, you put it in boiling water to loosen the feathers.

Then cut it up, clean it out and cook it!

What an adventure we had! It was actually kind of fun!! If you ever desire to try it, you can ask us any questions!

Spruce Campground

We decided to go with some friends who invited us camping this weekend! We seriously had so much fun relaxing with nothing to do other than some good hikes and hot fires! We love the outdoors. We have been so blessed on this earth with such beautiful surroundings!

Our first hike of the trip. Dog Lake was 7 miles, and man it was amazing!

Back at camp cooking dinner over the fire, and of course s'mores!!

We were right by a stream sleeping and it was so relaxing!

Last day hike before we said by to this beautiful place! 2 miles.

4th of July recap!

What a fun filled weekend! We went to the stadium of fire on saturday night, a Hamblin family yearly tradition, and had an absolute blast!! The whole family was sitting all together! I love that!!

This cute Grammy was next to me jammin out to Brad Paisley and David Archuleta the entire time! So precious! That will be my sister heather in 40 years! Hahha!

Wow I love my family! Today I got to be with my beautiful mother and sisters! We hung out and just watched the kids play in the back yard!

Tate and Preston won their championship baseball game 14 to 5!! Good job boys! These awesome kids in our neighborhood played their last game tonight and won. We had a blast cheering them on! After we all went for ice cream and we had such a great night! Good job boys we are so proud of you!!!!

So Brady has been so diligent with school, studying, and everything else that keeps him busy! I am so proud of him! Just recently he has completed his phlebotomy course and did awesome! I even let him practice on me! I hate needles and I must say he made me feel very comfortable! Good job Brady! You will make a great anesthesiologist!

Okay it's officially a twice a week thing... Since summer began, we have had at least two or more fires a week in our back yard! We love cooking tinfoil dinners or hot dogs! It's such a relaxing fun thing we LOVE doing!

Farm Update!

Well lots has happened lately on the farm, and it's been fun! Got all my gardening done and spring cleaning done and it feels great!
Our chickens will start laying their eggs in two weeks! Yeah!!

We have peonies all over in our flower beds. They are super pretty!

We sit in our backyard and watch the sunset every time we have a beautiful one.

We bought a cow yesterday so in the fall we will have TONS of meat! Yum!! Yes that means killing the poor boy!

Well there you have it... Life on the farm is awesome! Let's just say we will never forget this place!

I have been busy busy busy the past couple weeks, (the reason for no blog posts) and it has been a blast!!! Here is what we have been up to this past week...

My beautiful Mothers birthday!!!
We went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner, and to the movie Water For Elephants! It was absolutely amazing! What A night full of fun with my sisters and our amazing Mother!!

Brady and I joined a huge group of friends and my brothers white water rafting! It was so much fun! We did West Water out by St. George and had a total blast! It was sort of cold but we still had such a good time! Thanks Robby for planning it!

When we got home from our trip, we had to gather the Llamas again to get them sheered... It was too cold last time, so they are now finally sheered.. Look at the difference!! I have one word.... UGLY
Oh and don't forget our good friend Bill in the first two pictures! What a champ!

Well that is why we have been busy busy busy! Now back to blogging!

...A day on the farm...

So here is the run down of our day out on the farm... Our sheep and Llamas are getting sheered this week, so we had gather all the animals and put them in the small pen to make it easier for the guy to sheer them. We took our ranger out and pretty much chased after them and led them to the big bundles of hay we put in their, to pretty much bate them in.. We had a ton of fun and it was none stop laughing the whole time... We love our life here! It is a new adventure every single day!!!

A little bit scared...

So I got a new calling in my Ward and I am very happy and excited about it, but also very nervous after learning all that I am responsible for... Let's just say it will not be easy, but I know the Lord will bless me!! Maybe some of you know how I am feeling... If any one has advice, help is much needed so I can feel a bit more confident, and calm! I know that we are given callings for a reason and I can't wait to start with my new calling! I got called to be in the Primary Presidency as the Secretary! It will be quite the adventurous calling and I LOVE little kids SO much, and I feel that is part of the reason I serve in the Primary! I just can't get enough of kids and I can't wait until I have my own! For now I get all these beautiful children! (and the cute primary kids) Sisters can I please just have all your kids??? Thank you!!!

We had such a blast up in Park City! Lots of shopping, looking around fun stores, fun pool and hot tub, and most of all just a relaxing weekend with my sweet Brady!

I had to get these pictures! hahah I love my husband! He makes me so happy!!

Heather and Kevin joined us Saturday and we ate at 501 on main and then went to cold stone! we had a blast! Thanks for coming guys! we love you!

Brady and I LOVE campfires! We do them all the time in our back yard... Yes just us if you are wondering with who.. haha! We absolutely love it! With or without people! Well we recently did a big fire pit night with with our good friends. We did hot dogs for dinner, s'mores and starburst for dessert! We had so much fun and we can't wait for the summer when we have more of the warm nights to do more campfires! If this looks like fun, come to our house up here in Layton! We will provide you some yummy dinner and dessert over the fire!!! I'm being dead serious! Visitors always welcome here on the farm!

Weekend in Provo!!

We had an awesome weekend in Provo! We got to see lots of family and friends! On Thursday I left to go spend time with my beautiful niece afton! She had her tonsils out so I went to have a sleep over with her! She was so brave and did so good at the hospital.. I am so proud of my sweet little aftie! GOOD JOB!! She is such an amazingly beautiful talented girl! I love and miss her so much! Thanks sweet aftie rae for letting me sleep over and also Heidi, Judd, and Lucy for having me!! You guys are amazing! Her mom and dad got her this darling little night gown for being so brave! Isn't she darling?!!

Brady came down Friday after school and we had a fun filled two days with the Cannon Family (Yeah for Mollie being in town! We love and miss her so much, and I am so mad I didn't take pictures... sorry Moll), Kevin, Heather, and little baby in tummy! (We got to go to dinner and color me mine! So much fun!), and also a fun bridal shower Heather and I went to for our friend Kellee Cook! We are so excited for her! It was so fun seeing all our friends!

What a great weekend! Thanks to everyone who made it fun! We will be back soon!!!

...Families are Forever...

So this past weekend was General Conference and wow I LOVE this weekend so much! We didn't get to watch all of it because we had an eventful weekend full of sick people and grandpa going into the hospital, us helping my sweet amazing mother take little Wyatt to the doctors, and so on.... (Well Brady had a great time with his dad at the priesthood session and me with all my sisters and mom!) But needless to say, the bits and pieces that I did watch were awesome! I can't wait to get caught up on the rest of it. But from this weekend it really hit me just how amazing life is and how amazing both of my families are! I truly am blessed with so much good in my life, and I can only see it when I seek for the good and not the bad! I love both of my families so much and I don't know what I would do with out them! I love you all, and the best part about this gospel is that FAMILIES ARE FOREVER!

I also got to spend a ton of time with my mom, and wow she is one amazing person! For those of you who know her, you know what I am talking about! She is perfect in every way and I hope I can be half the woman she is! She is so giving, loving, patient, beautiful, and all around the worlds most amazing mother! Mom I love you so much and thank you for everything this weekend! You truly are the most amazing mom ever!

BYU Hero!!!!

My Grandpa Hamblin was honored on Thursday as BYU's Hero! He played on the football team and he was #20.. We had such a good time with the WHOLE family their and we are so proud of our sweet grandpa! We got to take a tour of the coaches office, the team room, the locker rooms, the meeting room where they do all their plans, and then we got to go and watch them practice! After they were done with practice they took my grandpa out to the center of the field and talked to him and gave him a gift, also a jersey and football with all the players signatures and my Grandpas signature on it! It was such a special night! Way to go Grandpa!! We LOVE you!!! GO BYU!

We had a really fun weekend full of exciting things! We had fun date nights with friends, campfires at our house and also campfires with the cute Russell family, started building our chicken coop so we can have it done by this week, got to celebrate sweet sweet Lucy's birthday with all the family (which i miss already), started growing our flowers to be planted outside, and just relaxed! Brady is on spring break this week and I LOVE it!!!!!

Cookie Love...

Who likes healthy recipes??? I DO! Well I have been really working on changing they way I eat ever since I have had problems with my health... It's not always easy, but I can honestly say I feel better when I try my best! So with that being said, I am always looking for fun healthy recipes that still taste good and this one I absolutely LOVED! Even Brady who really doesn't like the idea of a healthy cookie haha said he really liked them and would eat them if I made them again! Thats a good sign people! They are good I PROMISE.... Try them, and you wont't regret it!

Cinnamon-Raisin-Oatmeal Cookies...

Ingredients..
1 cup Dark brown sugar
1/2 cup Butter or margarine, softened
2 teas. vanilla
2 eggs
1 2/3 cups wheat flour
1/2 teas. baking soda
1/4 teas. cinnamon
1/2 teas. salt
3/4 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup Fiber One original bran cereal
1/2 cups raisins

Directions...

1. Heat oven to 350*. In large bowl beat brown sugar and butter with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. On low speed, beat in vanilla and eggs until well blended. Beat flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt until well blended. With spoon, stir in oats, fiber one cereal and raisins.
2. On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
3. bake 12-15 min or until set and golden brown. immediately remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks!

Painting!!!

So when we moved into our house up here in Layton, I painted every room because it needed it SO bad... Well I have loved all the colors I did so far but this room, our living room. So I decided to re paint it. I love the color, but that room gets so much natural light that it made the color look weird during the day... I will show you the after pics soon. But for now, here is what I found on the wall from Brady when I got home from dance!!! (which by the way took three coats to finally cover it..) It was so cute of him! I love my man! hahah! I LOVE how it turned out! Pictures to come!

So I thought I would share some pictures of my cute kids who did SOOO good competing in Idaho this past weekend! I didn't take many picture because I was busy haha! They made finals in everything and took many first places! Also my teams took first as well! I was so proud of them, and it showed on the dance floor just how hard they have been practicing! Good job kids! (mom I missed having you with me.. It was a whole new experience going as the coach and not as the dancer!)

What an amazing treat!! Thank you Heather Myers my cutest cousin ever for the recipe! They seriously are mine and Brady's fav treat ever! WE LOVE THEM!! Be carful they are addicting and very NOT good for you, but SOOOOO worth it!

Look at what she said on the bottom of the recipe!! hahah! Enjoy! sooo true!
...Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars...
2 c. butter melted
2 c. brown sugar
3 c. flour
2 teas. baking soda
1 teas. salt
4 c. oatmeal raw
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
2/3 c. peanut butter
2 c. mini reeses pieces

*Mix first 6 ingredients in a bowl. set aside 3 c. of mixture. press the remaining mixture into a cookie sheet and bake for 10 min @ *350. while that is baking mix sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter. once the mixture comes out of the oven let it cool for 2 min. and then pour sweetened condensed milk/peanut butter mixture over the oatmeal mixture and spread evenly. pour the mini reeses pieces into the 3 c. of oatmeal mixture you set aside. sprinkle over condensed milk/pb filling. bake for another 20 min.
*Enjoy!!!

Ranger+ Us = Fun!

So my sister Mel and the three boys came up to visit me yesterday here in farmville since I had nothing going on until 5:00pm! We went to lunch, went to the most AMAZING vintage store that is right by my house that I go to look around in weekly (if you love vintage furniture and decor it's a must see when you are here), fed the animals, played on the hand built old fashioned play ground/tire swing,and also spent most of our time on this big beauty driving around the millions of acres that we live on! Can I say TOTAL BLAST! I loved spending time with these boys and my amazing sister Mel! (come back:)) We all had such a fun time! and I miss them already! So any of you who want to come visit, I promise there is more to do than just see and smell animals!

Chicks!!!

So we bought six baby chicks so that by the end of the summer we will have full grown hens to lay eggs for us! we are so excited! Right now they are living in a box in our mud room but soon Brady will be done building our chicken coop and it will be warm enough for them to live outside!! We can't wait! Nothing is better than going out and getting fresh eggs every morning!! Pictures to come of the coop and also when they get bigger! But for now here are the little ladies!!!

Lovers Day!

We had such a special Valentines weekend this year! It started off Friday with me coming home from dance finding this while Brady was hiding around the corner acting like he was gone!

It seriously was the sweetest thing ever! He left me a sweet note and yummy crepes for dinner! He knows I love them!!! We also watched a movie and just relaxed all night!!! Thanks so much sweetie!

On Monday while Brady was at school I had some time on my hands to go the extra mile and totally destroy his study room at the house!!! This is how it turned out!

He was so excited!!! Man do I love surprises! Giving and getting them!!

Dead or Alive

So this has been quite an interesting week with the animals... The other day Brady goes out to feed the baby goats and they were doing just fine.. Well 4 hours later he goes back out to check on them and sure enough the little one who always gets bullied, got bullied into the freezing bucket of water and it froze to death:( we were so sad.. We loved this little guys he was so cute! well he will be missed.. This was such a tragic way to find him, but this is a common thing among a larger group of animals because there is always the one who fights to be in charge...

Well for the good news!!!! Yesterday this cute little guys was born! Oh baby sheep are the cutest things in the world! Today as I went out to check on him, he is up and walking around! He now comes to me and lets me pet him! I love this little guy!!!

Why???

So have you ever wondered why??? Why me? Why this? Why now? Why, why, why??? Well I have.. I still am not perfect I know, because I have really had to learn and understand the blessings of sticking it out through hard situation/trials that come my way because they make me better and stronger and closer to Christ. I used to always wonder why me? Why this trial/ situation? ALL the time. A while back I was in the hospital as you all know, and I had a lot of problems nutritionally, that caused a lot of body functioning problems. Long story short I was in the hospital, took a long time to get better and finally my amazing Uncle Tom, helped me and also found the right medicine to make me feel better. It was hard knowing that I had to rely on the medicine to feel good but it is so much better than being sick and weak... Also I thought it was a huge bummer that I needed to take this medicine until my body could function on it's own with out it, not to mention you can't get pregnant while on the medicine.. I recently have started taking the medicine less than I have been because my body was doing well with less dosage.. Things were on track and going great and I was well on my way to getting everything solved knowing what foods to eat to equal out my levels in my body.. Well 4 days ago, my sickness came back.. My first thought.. WOW why does the crappy things always happen to me.. But then I quickly said a prayer and asked for comfort. God knows what he is doing, he has a plan and he knows that this trial is not to big for me to handle. It may be 5 more years, maybe more, maybe less until I can have children because of this set back, but at least my body can get healthy again, and I can really learn to love life in what ever direction it leads me. 5 years is nothing! I have an amazing family and friends who I know love me, and most of all My sweet husband Brady! In comparison I so would choose my family, friends, and Brady over a dumb sickness! I now say to myself every day, seriously Michelle.. this isn't that bad! I can get through this! Well I am on my medicine fully again and we will see how it goes! I feel so much better than this past week and I am also so glad I caught it in time so i didn't have to go back to the hospital! Yeah no medical bills!!!

Brady got me this to help with my sickness, because I can juice ALL the veggies and fruit into one giant drink and get them all down in one sitting!!! It seriously is the most AMAZING juicer in the entire world! My drink consists of... beats, celery, tomato, cucumber, carrots, apples, oranges, and pretty much any fruit or veggie that gives TONS of vitamins. It has been so neat over the past year learning all the foods that are good for you and what they all consist of nutritionally. I am now a healthier person over all. See good things come from trials! It's if we choose to find the good in the bad!

Well sorry to blab so long, but I am seriously doing better and I know the lord has a plan for me! I also wanted to say thank you to my AMAZING cousin Allison. She sent all of us family an email about how reading the scriptures 30 minutes a day can honestly change your life. And it is a promise that if you read with the right purpose 30 minutes every day blessing will come your way that you would never even imagined. Brady and I have honestly seen a difference. I know I have especially because I really have been so happy during this hard time. So thank you Allison for that story you shared! I love you!

Yummy!!!

So Brady and I love making homemade wheat pizza and homemade wheat bread! We love doing this because it means lots of time to spend together and to just talk!!! We do this all the time. It seriously is so much better (and better for you) and tastes better. I don't think store bought bread or take out pizza would even be any good anymore since we have been doing a ton of stuff homemade! Thanks Brady for enjoying it as much as I do! I love that you love cooking! I am so dang lucky!
I took pictures of the pizza with out cheese or even it finished all cooked, but you still get the idea!! Looks yummy doesn't it??

Tis the season of BAD fruit....

Is it just me or has it been hard to find good fruit during these cold out of season months??? I want summer to come NOW so I can enjoy fruit the way it is supposed to taste.. The other morning I took a bite of a banana and just about threw up.... It was awful. Summer please hurry so we can have normal tasting fruit! Any suggestions on where to get good fresh fruit let me know! Thank you thank you!

Okay so it is official... I have deleted my Facebook!!! Sad but at the same time now I won't waste time on it everyday. I know it was a good way to stay in contact with friends and family. But seriously... If someone needs to get a hold of me they can call me or I can call them. What is facebook anyway?? A place to go to look at other people's pictures and statuses, pretty much a big black hole that sucks people in! Before you know it, two hours go by and you feel like you just signed in! Well goodbye facebook and hello more hours to my day back that I can spend doing something way more useful! (Friends please don't forget to invite me to weddings and get together's since that is the only way people do invites these days! haha) Seriously though!

Poor little friends...

After Many days of freezingness and snow, I am almost positive these little guys are very sick of the same gross food every day... Here are some pictures of our little backyard friends! Do they look like they love life?? NOT AT ALL... I would hate to just eat hay, roam around, eat more hay, poop everywhere and walk in it, roam around again, and then off to bed on a pile of poop... And it all starts over the next day. Well I sure hope they like us because sweet Brady does so much every morning and night to keep these guys full and taken care of! We really do love living on a farm, and I never thought I would actually say that.... I would recommend it for everyone, and I know for sure I could live on a farm the rest of my life!

Overton Nevada!!

Brady and I had such a great quick trip to visit the Kelly Family in Overton! We had such a fun time with all these cute little kids... Thanks so much for such a fun trip Becky and Shannon! We loved it and can't wait to be back! We have already started talking about the next time we can come!

Holiday Fun

Brady and I had an awesome Holiday week full of fun family parties, friend parties, lots of relaxing time and yummy food! Brady was sick during Christmas so i didn't even think to take pictures of us and family so I am really sad... At least i have tons of sisters to get pictures from! Love you girls! My sisters and I and Mollie went and saw a movie as girls, then Christmas Eve at my parents we had a yummy turkey dinner and a fun nativity with all the little ones! Right after we did presents! Thanks Mel and Billy for our gift and also Mom and Dad! That night we headed to the Cannon's and had dinner and watched movies and had treats! Such a fun Christmas Eve! Christmas morning we opened presents with the Cannon's! Thanks for all the fun gifts! Later that day I went with my family and saw a movie!

We had such a fun filled week!

Well the week prior to Christmas, when I actually had my camera..! We had lots of fun things that happened...

We went and visited this beautiful family in Overton, close to St. George!! (next post to come Becky I promise!)

Had a fun party with these amazing girls and their husbands!

Had lots of shows to attend with all my amazingly talented students both from Show Stoppers and Davis County Ballroom! (I teach over 200 students both studios combined each week) Love you all, and you made me so proud!!

Winter Wonder Land!

Weekend of fun!

Brady and I had such an awesome weekend! We such a great time with family, enjoyed a wonderful thanksgiving dinner and ate lots of food and desserts!!

We had quite the celebration this past weekend for our 2 year anniversary! Brady I love you with all my heart! I couldn't have asked for a better person to be with for ever!

Here is how our day went...

Went to the mall for some fun shopping!

Later that night we went to our favorite sushi bar!

Finished the night off with Harry Potter! LOVE IT!

Life as a 2 year old...

So as Brady was looking at our blog and our past 5 posts, he noticed something... I seriously have spelled something wrong on every single post I have blogged about for the past 5 posts... SO SORRY! I am the worst speller.. All who know me can agree right?? I think I spell things out in my mind how they sound and not as they should be! hahaha! Well Sarah my love (being an english major and all... ) WHY HAVEN'T YOU CORRECTED ME YET??? Well from here on out I will check my spelling over and over before I post anything!

Ps... Tomorrow we are celebrating our 2 year anniversary! I am so excited! Our actual date falls on Thanksgiving this year so we are going to celebrate a little early! Pictures and details to come!

Here is our Barn.... We had to re-organize and cover all the hay for the winter time so that we could have food for the animals since the grass will all be snowed on..

So this is Rose... Today while working she tried to attack bear and chased after him.. Even tried kicking him with her hind legs. Brady didn't let that happen to long before he scared her away by chasing after her with a stick he found on the ground. She took of running!!

Life is an adventure... I love being able to go and do so many fun things with Brady. He never fails on showing me new things and new places. Here are some pictures of our slot canyon hike we just went on! Also as I have said before, pictures of bear will never stop hahah! He is getting sooo big! We love him!

Slot canyons are so much fun... If you haven't done on yet it is a must! This was about a 4 mile hike in this type of small space and water the whole time. Amazing! Also we did 5 repels to get us lower into the slot canyon! These pictures don't even show how beautiful it really is... We love doing this and will do it every summer as much as we can!

Halloween fun!

Halloween was so much fun this year, it was filled with family, friends, and lots of FOOD!

we went came down to provo to be with family for the weekend and it was so much fun.. We started the night off at my parents and i helped get my beautiful mother dressed up for all the trick or treat kids! She looked sooo cute as you can see, I dressed up as Snow White and Brady was Prince Charming! I think he stayed in his costume for maybe 10 min... haha! Well later we went up to Heater and Kevin's for a fun Halloween Party! We saw some friends we haven't seen for ever! Thanks Heather! It was a blast! I made homemade pizza which i need to blog the recipe because it is soooo good and its all from scratch! Heather of course went all out and decorated and had yummy treats and so did kellee! Thanks girls!

Our fun group of people and I loved Heather and Kevin's costumes! Oh and you can't ever not do donut-on-a-string game! hahah GO BRADY!

Daily duties!

So some of you know that we not only live on a farm but we take care our cute (smelly) animals!! We feed them their hay in the mornings, and do lots of random things to keep the farm going and happy! The other day Brady and I were out on the farm building a fence and we notice one of my cute little friends (goat) got loose. Little did i know i was holding him wrong trying to put my sweet smelly friend back in his area and startled him so guess what happens to me? Take a guess??........ He freaking pooped all over my legs... can you say sick? Yes disgusting. But in the end Brady and i were laughing so hard and i can officially say i am a farmer haha! To go on top of that right after a cat gets run over in the road in front of our house so what am i to do?? pretty sure i should show it some kindness a bury him... Crazy. so many things in one day! Well here is a few pictures of our fun little home sweet home and the animals in our backyard! Also don't be surprised if i put pictures of bear up every post! He is just growing so dang fast it makes us sad!

Life and it's changes

Well life has brought us in so many new directions.. I will have to tell about our life piece by piece! We have moved into a cute perfect little home on a farm! (pictures to come) Life is amazing and we have never been happier! Stay posted for lots and lots more to come.. I feel like i have lots to blog about and that life is a bit more exciting!

First things first... the new addition to our family!!

Brady and I love him so much! he is a chocolate lab!!! he keeps us so entertained! We got him for Brady's Birthday last week!

Along with getting a dog last weekend, we also went with some friends down to Zion's to spend a weekend of hiking and fun! We hiked Subway, and also did lots of repelling at a slot canyon called Keyhole! We had so much fun

1. Moving from Orem to Bountiful. (By the way we LOVE it here!)

2. Our router is so completely crappy that it stalls the internet when i get on blogs.

3. We have been SO busy with work this summer that when we have free time it is going to provo to see our families which we so dearly miss!!

So this week we are going to get a new router, and i am going to be so happy! I have so many fun things and pictures of trips, family things, our life here in bountiful and much more to share!!!

Well as you all know my health is getting better each day which is a HUGE blessing in my life! Thanks again for family and friends for all of your support through this trial of mine! And of course Brady:) Anyway... We don't plan on having kids for a LONG time, well at least until i am perfectly healthy so we decided to go a different rout...

FISH!!!!!

Okay so it might sound like not such a fun thing and probably smelly, but it so isn't!!!

We got a 3o Gallon tank and we have about 8 fishes in their! It is such a joy to sit in front of! We read that sitting and watching a fish tank can lower your stress and blood pressure hahah! Just a fun fact, but anyway we LOVE it... For those of you who have seen it, my most favorite fish is Conner! He is so little hahahahh and if you haven't seen it please come over and visit! It will give you a good excuse (wink,wink) to come over!

What life is really about....

So for all of you who have known about my problems I have been having these past few weeks, I am doing better and better each day, but still waiting for all my results to come back. For those of you who don't know I have been in the hospital and have been out for a week now, trying to recover. I have been having problems passing out for no reason and it had gotten so bad I had to rush to the ER. From that point I have been through MANY tests and they still are trying to figure it out. My doctor said " I really love solving puzzles, and this one I can't solve and it is really frustrating". It was really funny. They have me on medicine now and I will be A okay in no time! Lets just cross our fingers they will find out soon so i can MOVE ON!! Its almost like my life has been on hold and I can't drive or be by myself... Its so annoying. Well I just have to say thank you to all of you who prayed and fasted for me.. You guys truly are amazing! My family has been such an amazing support. Thank you thank you thank you! Mom, Dad, The Cannons, my sisters, and brothers! Even some of my friends!!! THANK YOU!! My sweet husband Brady is the best guy in the world! He had to do so much for me along with school... I love him and am so lucky to have someone who cares for me more than I could even explain!

Having to deal with all of this has given me a lot of time to sit and do absolutely nothing considering I couldn't even walk for two week, but to sit and to think about my life... How grateful i am to have the gospel. I feel so lucky to have this in my and for it to be the main focus on everything i do. It overrides all of my stress and worries about medical bills, work, teaching, not having enough free time, etc..... Life is about trials and working through them. I have made a goal to serve as much as i can and to STOP worrying about the things in life that DON'T matter. The Gospel, my husband Brady and our life together, and family. This is what life is really about. Its all about service and love and becoming like Christ. I try really hard to keep that in mind and all my worries seem to fade! How happy i am to know these things and to try and stay positive!

Again Thank you EVERYONE for all of your love and support!! It has helped me so much! I couldn't have done it with out you!!!!

Our Christmas Week

So Brady and I had such a fun Christmas this year! Lots of family parties and so many treats!!! We had a fun Christmas Eve dinner at my parents and opend some of our gifts from each other, and played games, then we went up to see Brady's family and Grandma was their! It was so much fun to see her and to be with them! After we went back to my parents and me and the boys all went to INN N OUT the best place ever and yes it was open on christmas eve!!! We got home and all slept at my parents and woke up to such fun gifts from family and Santa aka Mom and Dad! Thank you every one for the amazing gifts! We loved them all! After we went to the Cannons to do gifts and it was also so much fun! Thank you guys for your sweet gifts as well! That day we went to go so a movie and just played more games that night! We had such a FUN Christmas! Thank you family and thank you Brady!

Happy Anniversary!

Brady and I just celebrated our 1 Year Anniversary! Crazy how time flys!!! Marriage is the best and each day gets better! We started off the day sleeping in:) We never get too! Then we got up and got ready and then went to In N Out for Lunch which by the way is amazing! Then we headed up to Park City for the day! We shopped around and just had so much fun up their! I love Park City! For dinner we went to OUTBACK! It was so so good, and after we went and got ice cream for dessert. Oh and don't forget the wedding cake haha we took a bite each and it was not so good so we thought it would be funny to bring it to my parents the next day for our thoughtful Thanksgiving dessert hahah! Everyone was laughing well maybe just me but hey it was a funny joke! We had a such a great day and life only gets better each day! Brads im so grateful to have you in my life! I couldn't have been blessed with a more perfect husband for me! You truly are so amazing in everything! I love you so much! Thanks for an amazing day!

Christmas is coming i PROMISE!!

Okay so i know it is early, but i am so impatient that i couldn't wait... I SET UP MY CHRISTMAS TREE!! I love Christmas so much that i wanted to start the season early! I think that Thanksgiving should be in a different month so that we could celebrate Christmas season November and December!!! I love Christmas so much! Only 38 more days! Okay so Brady and i have been on a huge kick with watching movies at night and only having our christmas tree lights on.. I love the cozy feeling it brings! I think we have watched 7 movies in the past two weeks just at our home!! I love it... A favorite of mine is Christmas Vacation and I bet most of you know that.. This is for you kellee.... and every one else who appreciates this movie like muah!

The last two months of our lives!!

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything. I honestly have been so busy with so much going on.. Moving, (by the way we LOVE our new place! it is perfect!!) getting my tonsils out, dancing a ton, Brady with SO much school, and just overall busy. So as i promised here is an update of our past few months of the things we have done!! Good and Bad! haha!

Heather and I went to go see ryan and his band Hellohellocopter play! It was so fun! Sorry to brag, but Ryan is so amazing!! Good job bro I love you!

Close your eyes on this picture if you don't want to see what it looks like when they are healing. I had quite the experience with this surgery. Never again will i have to experience this and i'm SO glad it is over. PS... I have NEVER been so hungry. I appreciate food more now than I ever have!!

We have been on a few hikes and we LOVE being outside... To bad it's getting cold now because it is not as fun to go, but next summer will be here before we know it!

So my sister and I and little tess and syd all got our swine flew shots today... Not the best experience haha! We are glad it is over and lets hope we don't get sick. I was trying to decide if it would be a good idea or not, but i have heard way more good about the shot than bad so I decided to get it. Thanks sis for waiting in line FOREVER!!! Love you! Hope the girls are happy now!
